Projects: Heating & Renewables: Roman Camp1

Projects: Roman Camp, Pathhead

In Heating and Renewables by Administrator

This project involved fitting solar thermal panels to the properties roofs providing cost savings and energy conservation to the client. The Roman Camp Way, Pathhead, properties are age exclusive housing managed by Castle Rock Edinvar Housing Association.

Solar thermal panels use the sun’s energy to directly heat water and can reduce your energy bills because sunlight is free, so once you’ve paid for the initial installation your hot water costs will be reduced. Similarly, solar hot water is a green, renewable heating system and can reduce your carbon dioxide emissions, thus cutting your carbon footprint.

We are able to consistently install solar thermal panels to the highest quality every time.

Furthermore by investing in new renewable heat technologies, such as solar thermal panels, you may be entitled to financial incentives through the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). RHI is a UK Government scheme set up to encourage the uptake of renewable heat technologies among householders, communities and businesses. The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) who set the domestic tariff for Renewable Heat Incentive advise that RHI will be available to anyone who installed renewable heat technology as of 15 July 2009 and who also meet the RHI eligibility criteria.

Investing for the long term in new renewable heat technologies will mean cleaner energy and cheaper bills.
